Peanut Butter Pie

I really need to stop making desserts.

But then I ask myself, Why Sarah? Why deprive yourself? As I stuff myself with creamy delicious pie heaven. It goes back and forth. Pie 1, Sarah’s self control 0.

Peanut Butter Pie

(Recipe by Sarah Eats Austin)

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, room temp

1 cup peanut butter

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 tbls sugar

 

1 sleeve oreos

3 tbls butter

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a food processor grind the oreos and butter together until crumbly. Press into a pie pan and bake for 5-8 minutes until set. Let cool.

Meanwhile, make whipped cream by whipping together the heavy cream until medium peaks. At this point you can add in the 3 tbls of sugar and vanilla and continue mixing until heavy peaks.

Blend together the cream cheese and peanut butter well, then blend in the powdered sugar. After this is thoroughly combined, fold in the whipped cream.

Pour into cooled pie crust and chill for at least 4 hours.

Serve cold.
