Steak and Potato Pie Pockets

 This recipe really isn’t much of a recipe…. I like to call it more of put what you got into a pie crust and enjoy. I think that’s a better fitted name.

But despite all of that it is a great leftover recipe to use when you don’t want the exact same thing the night after. And today being Memorial day I figured there might be a few people grilling steaks and baking potatoes and if it just so happens you have some leftovers you know what to do with them now!

Steak and Potato Pie Pockets

(Recipe by Sarah Eats Austin)

Ingredients

2 cooked steaks, cubed

1 large cooked potato, cubed

1/2 onion, diced

salt and pepper to taste

olive oil

1 pie crust

egg wash

Directions

Preheat oven 350F.

Saute the onions in olive oil until translucent. Next add in the steak and potato cubes and cook until golden brown.

Once that is done simply creates little pockets with the pie dough and stuff them with the filling. Brush with and egg-wash and bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and delicious.
