Peanut butter

Mixed Caramel Rum Nut Butter

I think it is pretty safe to say that 2014 was the year of the butters. Cookie butter, nut butters, you name. Grind it up and call it butter. I’m ok with this.

But as usual I’m pretty late to the party. Here I am, half a month away from 2015, and finally I produce some sort of butter. Good job me.

Better late than never right?

Peanut Butter Pie

I really need to stop making desserts.

But then I ask myself, Why Sarah? Why deprive yourself? As I stuff myself with creamy delicious pie heaven. It goes back and forth. Pie 1, Sarah’s self control 0.

The Top Fives of 2013

Around this time of year everyone is tired of lists. Shopping lists, guest lists, to-do lists. We get it, we’re done. Reading lists however can still manage to be entertaining. So here I thought I would share with you all some of my top five favorite things from this past year. From movies, recipes, and albums, here are some of the things that really stood out to me.

Peanut Butter Oreo Pie Parfaits

I think I have a slight obsession with chocolate and peanut butter.

If you couldn’t tell from some of my recipes like chocolate peanut butter oreo cupcakes, peanut butter and chocolate sandwich cookies, and also my peanut butter pie stuffed doughnuts dipped in chocolate.

So remember how I was talking about my brother making a movie soon?

Well, you see, it would be very very helpful to him if he could actually get funded for making this film.

Here’s the thing about blogging, or just writing in general. Whenever I’m about to publish something to the public, I always freak out that my spelling is off.
My grammar is off for sure, but spelling? Especially when it comes to food related words. I mean I’m a food blogger!
I should know how to spell these things!

Peanut Butter Banana Honey Upside Down Cake

So due to the fact that I will be out of town until Friday, I thought I’d go ahead and post something for ya’ll today on this wonderful Sunday afternoon.

And of course upon my return I will tell ya’ll about all of the delicious food I had in New Orleans and all the crazy adventures I had along the way. I mean, I’m a blogger, that’s what I do. Hopefully I’m not annoying ya’ll along the way.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars

Nothing says childhood like a peanut butter and jelly.
As I get older, I find that I miss being a little kid sometimes. No cares in the world and the biggest worry was what was going to be for dinner.
Those were the good old days.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all having a great week, despite the cold and rainy weather we’ve been having here in Austin.

I have to admit I wasn’t expecting that one bit, nor did I care for it. I’m ready for the 108 degree weather! No more cold until fall please.
